Most "private pool" stays in Langkawi mean a resort pool with a hundred loungers. Ours is different: an infinity pool at the edge of a kampung garden, where the water ends and the padi fields begin — shared only between the guests of two houses, and open until 10 PM. And if you want a pool that is yours alone, Rumah Uda has its own plunge pool right on the deck.

Pool questions, answered

Is the pool private?Guests only. Shared between Rumah Opah and Rumah Wan — book both and it is entirely yours. Rumah Uda's plunge pool is always private to Uda.
How deep?Uda's plunge pool is about 4 ft deep, 10 × 10 ft. Children swim with supervision.
Opening hoursThe infinity pool is open until 10 PM — night swims with the padi in the dark.
Day visitors?No day passes — the pools stay quiet because only staying guests use them.
